Power for good.

To do things with real love and grace, to be patient and merciful, to be unselfish and  generous by heart. That’s our ideal for a human life. But it is not possible unless we get it from God. All that virtues are God’s virtues, and we can acquire it only by living near God, by spending time with Him and at His word. If you want to experience a better world start with yourself. Don’t expect just other people to be better. Let God transform you.

Your marvelous doings are headline news;
   I could write a book full of the details of your greatness.
7 The fame of your goodness spreads across the country;
   your righteousness is on everyone’s lips.
8 God is all mercy and grace—
   not quick to anger, is rich in love.
9 God is good to one and all;
   everything he does is suffused with grace.
10-11 Creation and creatures applaud you, God;
   your holy people bless you.
They talk about the glories of your rule,
   they exclaim over your splendor,
12 Letting the world know of your power for good,
   the lavish splendor of your kingdom.
(Psalm 145:6-12 MSG)

Prayer: Your mercies and favors fill my life. Your goodness exceeds all possible expectations. Your actions are filled with real love and grace. I applaud You. I want to live near You. I want You to live in me and through me. That’s a life worth living. I worship You.
